Fuji Natura 1600: Video
This is my favorite film for vintage tones and nostalgia. It’s such a shame they discontinued it. I still have a few in my fridge for a special shoot.
Check out all the high res images below the video on this page. All images unprocessed, scanned on an Epson V550. Shot on my Canon F-1 and 50mm f/1.4 lens.
Finding the Right Beginner Camera: Video
Here are all the photos I shot during the taping of this episode with my Fuji XE-1 and XF35mm f/2. I've also included the photos I took of the cameras I suggested in this video, on the same camera and lens rig, with the addition of two Yongnuo YM560III speedlights Yongnuo YN560-TX flash controller, Godox 80cm Octabank, and Newwer 60x90cm striplight.
Everything was minimally edited with the same workflow I use for all digital images in Lightroom. I use VSCO presets, and I subscribe to VSCOX.
Medium Format and Slide Film: Video
Here are all the photos I took during the taping of this episode of The Photo Dept.
I used Fujifilm Provia 400F from 2004, shot on my Pentax 645n with the 150mm A f/3.5lens. The film was processed at PhotoLab in Berkeley. Enjoy.
